In Windows 2000, the Active Directory is not all, but it is a lot.
So, to manage your domain, use Active Directory Management tools, such as Active Directory Users and Computers.
Run W2K Server's Active Directory Users and Computers( You should install this tool in Server Setup in Administration tools).
In "Computers" directory, add a new computer for your client by specify the name of it. Then you can configure your client in network recognition, after you finished doing that, login on the client with a user account already exists in the domain, then you can access the resources in the domain on the client computer.
