启动出错 error: can't write escd!

我的win98启动时出现错误信息:error: can't write escd!
我格式化硬盘,重新安装仍不能解决,但硬件(包括光盘刻录机),软件运行均正常,
这问题出在什么地方?如何解决?

这个跟cmos有关系，解决方法如下：
1.修改Cmos中的相关参数，好像是reset escd update之类的。
2.如果不行修改98的参数。控制面板--〉系统--〉设备管理器--〉系统设备--〉即插即用BIOS--〉属性--〉设置--〉禁用NVCD/ESCD更新。
