ModScan Overview The ModScan application operates as a MODBUS mastermodbus_protocol device in either RTU or ASCII transmission modes. ModScan may be used to access and modify data points contained in one or more MODBUS slave devices connected to the PC via a serial port, modem, or network. ModScan supports the standard MODBUS message types 01-06, 15 & 16, as well as providing the ability for you to exercise special features of a slave device by transmitting custom command strings and observing the response. ModScan is a useful test and diagnostic tool for verifying the proper slave response to MODBUS queries as well as being a low cost data collection tool for interfacing data into PC database and spreadsheet applications. 1.1 Document/View Architecture ModScan utilizes the standard Windows Multiple-Document-Interface, (MDI), architecture for displaying modbus data to the user. Each document represents a series, (array), of modbus data points identified by the following parameters: Slave Device Address Represents the physical device attached to the modbus network Data Type Internal data representation, (i.e. input, coil, register) Data Address Point address w

roduced by Dassault Systemes, designed for creating interactive tutorials, presentations and technical illustrations based on a 3-dimensional model of the product. With support for a wide range of file formats, 3DVia Composer allows you to work with the product entirely, even if it was created in different CAD-systems. The results can be saved in native format 3DVia Composer automatically added along with a free viewer or exported to a common standard data formats such as PDF, HTML, AVI and SVG. 3DVia Composer - convenient and functional system design multimedia content, automating the process of creating instructions for assembly / disassembly, technical illustrations, interactive 3D animations, marketing materials, product catalogs, training materials, web-pages and much more. Amenities: Convenient, simple and intuitive user interface, and an open XML-architecture solutions 3DVia Composer allows a wide range of users with no technical skills to develop technical documentation, create associative 2D and 3D materials based on design CAD-models of products. Advantages: 3DVia Composer can be used successfully in sales, marketing, maintenance and repair (MRO), training in engineering and production departments, as well as for monitoring and managing complex projects management company Effective use of information about the product: 3DVia Composer provides the creation of technical illustrations, video and interactive 3D material, which not only improve the perception of information through greater visibility, but and greatly improve the quality of the generated documentation. Using interactive graphic elements can significantly reduce the amount of text items, which reduces time and cost to translate a text document with the release of her multi-lingual. Compatibility: 3DVia Composer allows you to import data from most modern CAD ??and PLM systems directly in their own format or in standard neutral formats 3DXML / IGES / STEP. Imported objects are grouped in an assembly on the basis of which can be formed specification (BOM - Bill of Materials). Developed interactive documents can be stored in a compact executable EXE-files (for example, the volume of the original CAD model 50 MB, * .exe file 3DVia Composer - the result of converting this model into a format 3DVia Composer will have a capacity of only 2.5 Mb). These EXE-files have a built-free 3DVia Player, so they can be open to absolutely any computer without using any pre-installed specialized software (such as CAD-systems or proper 3DVia Composer). Projects 3DVia Composer can also be saved in various standard data formats such as: PDF, HTML, SVG, CGM, 3DXML, AVI, Microsoft Office and others that allows you to use graphics, multimedeynye, interactive objects 3DVia Composer in the traditional text documents for different purposes . Thus, 3DVia Composer significantly increases the efficiency of the process of creating documentation, eliminating the need for costly professional services (photographers, illustrators). Viewed software reduces the cost of documentation, and, consequently, the product as a whole, while improving the quality of presentation and perception of the material. Application: Application 3DVia Composer allows you to reduce the time spent on rework and update the documentation when you make changes in product design. Updates are performed automatically by the associative connection with the design CAD- model. Cost and terms of design documentation is also declining due to more effective use of information on future product. Development of documentation in 3DVia Composer can begin at an early stage of design when the design model are not fully developed, and at later stages, upon completion of the design process, you can easily update graphics and multimedia content in a prepared document template. Documents: Interactive documents created in 3DVia Composer, can be protected from unauthorized dissemination and use by assigning access rights to the options for viewing, copying and printing, as well as full / partial display / hide individual items or under-managed quality / accuracy of the displayed 3D models, when the geometric parameters of the product is intellectual property. Composition solutions 3DVia Composer: 3DVia Composer - base module, which provides an interactive development of technical documentation on the basis of design CAD-models of products. 3DVia Composer is designed specifically for developers of technical documentation and does not require special skills and knowledge in the application of CAD / CAM / CAE-systems. Visual and intuitive user interface provides the convenience and high performance with graphics and text objects, their properties and performance. All these parameters can be stored in a library of styles for reuse in new projects. Interactive animation (the processes of assembly / disassembly, maintenance and repair, a demonstration model of a product from various angles, annotations and explanatory graphics), high-quality vector images (SVG, CGM), and technical illustrations (callout types, specifications) can be created extremely quickly and easily. 3DVia Player - a free utility designed for viewing projects 3DVia Composer. This utility is built into interactive tutorials 3DVia Composer (EXE-files) that allows you to view these documents on any computer without special software. 3DVia Player provides the OLE-objects are embedded in standard documents Microsoft Office, of PDM (such as ENOVIA SmarTeam) and web-page by. 3DVia Safe - This module is designed to control access rights to the online documentation created using 3DVia Composer (view, print, , display items, the quality / accuracy of the model, etc.) and provides reliable protection of intellectual property. 3DVia Sync and 3DVia Sync Integration - these modules provide the synchronization and automatic updates of the geometry, metadata and specifications when the original CAD-models of products. 3DVia Path Planning and 3DVia Check - these modules provide automated creation of a sequence of assembly / disassembly of assemblies and mechanisms to control conflicts
