I don’t think the name of “Inside COM” is inappropriate.
In English, ‘Inside’ does not necessarily mean ‘in-depth’. It may just mean to guide you from a layman is(side) to the field step by step. It is the translators’ fault than translate it to something like ‘技术内幕”. Many ‘Inside’ books are just primers.
