虚拟机下的linux中 vmware tools 的安装问题

我用的是vmware workstation 6.5
错误提示如下：

Mounting HGFS shares: [失败]

请问这是什么问题啊？

我也是这个问题，Guest。。。。【失败】，后面的话更让人不知道安装是否成功：unable to start service for vmware tools;execution aborted.哪位高手能帮解决一下？

在VM->Setting中的Option页中，设置Shared Folders，使之enable 了
但还是出现mounting hgfs shares 失败 的提示
文件不能被guest机共享，有谁知道怎样解决这个问题，guest机使用的是Fedora Core6

在vmware6.5下面装red hat9的确是有点问题的，我换了vmware6.0，现在除了开linux的时候加载一些applet像时间等小程序有问题之外，上网和分辨率调节都解决了。

而且在关机的时候还有：cannot locate sound-slot之类的话
是不是在vmware workstation 6.5下面的vmware tools 是有问题的，或者说和我的linux是不兼容的？

在VM中安装LInux系统，然后在安装VMware Tools之后，会报下列错误：

Mounting HGFS shares: [FAILED]





在Linux启动的时候常常报下列错误：

Mounting local filesystems: [FAILED]

Mounting HGFS filesystems: [FAILED]

Mounting other filesystems: [FAILED]

但不影响Linux的任何使用。



这是由于VMware的一个新功能设置问题造成的报错，此功能是为了使Guest(VM)和host(现实机)能够更好的传输文件所设置的，参考VMware菜单Help中的Shared Folders Settings Panel，可以理解这个功能。在VM->Setting中的Option页中，设置Shared Folders，使之enable 就可以了，这个功能能把host上的目录mount到Guest上的/mnt/hgfs目录，实现共享访问，非常不错。


不知道你的是不是这个原因？

那下面那句Guest operating system daemon: Unable to start services for VMware Tools 的问题呢？

linux下提示中没有说完成安装呀。。。

而且之后启动的时候会说mounting local file systems failed

./vmware_install的最后会碰到Mounting HGFS filesystems: [FAILED]

这个不是什么大问题 挂载共享的东西 打开vmware的settings里面的options

把文件共享Shared Folders的设置Enabled即可
