linux安装无线网卡驱动

我电脑上装了xp和ubuntu双系统，xp上网用的是cmcc—edu，然后在ubuntu上不能上网，在网上搜了下是ubuntu上差驱动的原因，我的无线网卡类型是802.11g的。求解怎么在ubuntu上装802.11g的驱动啊

我记得我ubuntu好像是先用有线连上网，然后进入ubuntu，“系统”->“系统管理”->“附加驱动”，然后就自动搜出来了，装的是无线网卡驱动

前段时间硬盘安装了CentOS5.5 但台式机用的是无线网卡,其驱动程序没有Linux版的,在此提供 madwifi驱动程序包给需要的朋友

我的系统是Fedora6，无线网卡是 Intel 802.11 b/g 的，前段时间为了在 Linux 下可以连接到家中的无线网络，忙活了一个多星期才搞好，感觉还是很麻烦的，所以把我整理的资料发上来大家供大家参考，希望对大家有用。开始我按照上面的步骤很快就装好了，但是一启用无线网卡，过会就死机，当我搞了一个多星期快放弃的时候，才发现原来安装ieee80211的最新版本才有这个问题，我也是把几个模块的所有版本都试过来才发现的，请大家留意。祝你好运，:)
