Sun Certified Enterprise Architect for J2EE Technology StudyGuide - Prentice Hall 到处都没有,http://groups.yahoo.com/group/scea_prep/ 里面的文件夹也被清空了。 现在还考SCJP没什么用了,“人有我有”在这个行业是行不通的,只有走在别人前面,超越自我。除非你不想出人头地。
These are the books that have been suggested by Sun. This list is not on the official website as it is not complete. I got this directly from Sun. I have these books and have passed comment against each.
I haven’t started reading this yet, but from looking at the content it would be very valuable to know it but it is overkill for part I of SCEA for J2EE. I recommend this but as reference material for specific objectives like firewalls etc.
Java 2 Network Security
Marco Pistoia
Duane F. Reller
Deepak Gupta
Milind Nagnur
Ashok K. Ramani
I wouldn’t bother with this book. Is this an oversight on Sun’s behalf? Java is nowhere to be seen as the book is dedicated to Eiffel!
Design Patterns and Contracts
Jean-Marc Jezequel
Michel Train
Christine mingins
Must have this one
Design Patterns
Erich Gamma, Richard Helm, Ralph Johnson, John
Vlissides, Grady Booch
I have never come across a bad book from O’Reilly. I did not personally use this one for part I preparation, preferring Monson’s book below.
Java Enterprise in a Nutshell
David Flanagan, Jim Farley
William Crawford
Kris Magnusson
Top drawer stuff. The good thing about this one is that it’s distilled so there’s less to read. I would recommend this one. I believe there are two versions of it but from postings I’ve seen there isn’t much difference.
UML Distilled
Martin Fowler
Excellent EJB / J2EE book. In my opinion this is a must. It covers EJB 1.1 (There is an older version that just covers EJB 1.0) which is apparently what the SCEA for J2EE is based on according to a mail I received from Sun. Pay attention to the differences between 1.0 and 1.1 which the book aptly distinguishes as there are some questions in part I of SCEA for J2EE which cross specifications, despite Sun’s insistence that the certification is targeted at EJB 1.1.
