怎样用w2k的Os Loader来启动Linux?

我的机器上装了Red Hat Linux6.1和W2K,
为了保证W2K的启动Redhat的lilo装在了非MBR
即first sector of my root partition上.

Linux Howto文档里说到的Linux+Winnt的并用方法需要改动NT的Boot.ini,
可是我发现W2K并没有Boot.ini, 那么怎么样才能让W2K的Loader启动Linux呢?

好象不行,你为什么不用lilo呢？

应该是可以的。先跑到Linux下用dd做一个启动的镜象文件
dd if=/dev/hdax of=filename bs=512 count=1
其中hdax是root所在的分区,filename是输出文件,比如boot.lnx
然后copy这个文件到c:\下面,修改boot.ini,在[Operatin Systems]
模块里增添一行
C:\BOOT.LNX="Linux"
然后再启动os loader的菜单里就多了一项进入linux的东东了

昨天提交时出错，不想发了这么多份，对不起！
如果没有boot.ini,有没有config.sys,autoexec.bat呢？
应该可以使用loadlin来启动linux的。你看一下linux
的安装盘上，一般都由那个软件的。直接拷贝/boot/下的
内核文见到你指定的2000可以访问的目录就可以了。然后在
config.sys中添加启动菜单项即可。在autoexec中启动loadlin
的命令行。
只能在实模式下使用loadlin其它的保护模式，v86下都不能使用的。

of cause you can.
would you please read the howto document detailly.

there are four steps.
1. install linux make a boot disk. make you boot system
on /dev/hda5. (just on my configure.)
2. boot from the boot disk.
3. run command dd if=/dev/hda5 of=/dos/bootsect.lux (ibs=512 count=1)
4. vi /dov/boot.ini ; and add a item for boot.
then reboot.

remark.
I don't remember the dd parameter detailly. would you please
reference the man again.
I have mount the driver c in dos to /dos
