Interdev创建新工程失败

已有一个工程存在，我想connect to an existing web application on localhost,于是系统给出了如下提示：
An Http error occured. The Server could not complete your request. make sure the server has the Frontpage extensions installed , and that the web application exists on the server.

localhost/DemoNew
访问完全正常，并且localhost/及localhost/DemoNew的安全均设置为"写入"

根据提示找问题呗
说你没有装Frontpage extensions，你就装一个给它看
说the web application 没有 exists on the server
你就看看那个工程有没有存在？一般都是有两份，一份在网站的虚拟目录里，一份就是创建该应用程序时设的目录，还有，要在iis确认那个虚拟目录是不是已设成应用程序（属性里头）

frontpage服务器扩展没设置

windows 2000 professional+iis 5.0
frontpage extension已安装好，在管理工具里可以看到server extensions管理器
只存在master copy.
当然不存在local copy,否则的话我就没必要connect to an existing web application on localhost.

检查iis服务是否启动，配置是否正确

是否安装了 ms proxy 呀，如果有将“对本地不使用代理选上哦”

你装的Interdev是五张盘的visual studio 6.0 还是六张盘的，这两个好象都不好使，找九张盘的visual studio 6.0，然后服务器名为你的机器名，保管OK！好使了别忘了给我点分，我的专家分数还是0。

建议使用Windows NT 4.0 + IIS 4.0 + Visual Studio 6.0
