如果你指的是SharePoint Portal Server搜索范围列表的定义：

1． 在manage content source目录下，右键点击一个建好的source folder，选取属性。
2． 在Advanced下，输入或选取一个范围名。（输入的名称将自动显示在首页的Search scope列表）

是这样：当我checkin一个非word文档时，需要输入关键词以便用户查询。
而此时，如果有一个完善定义的关键词列表供我选择就很棒。

在系统的managing content 帮助中提到所谓初始关键词列表，这当然很好：管理员可以放开一段时间，让author根据自己理解输入关键词，一段时间以后再把输入的关键词整理成公用的关键词列表供选择，并不再允许自由输入。

那么，这是如何实现的呢，通过设置Keyword 属性的multi-value list并不好使。

要实现这样的功能，可以参考以下的步骤：

1. 以Web Folder方式浏览http://server/workspace/Management/Document Profiles/

2. 打开Base Document。

3. 点击Properties -> Keywords，然后是Edit按钮。

4. 点击Edit Values…

5. 输入关键词列表，并选择是否允许用户输入。

6. 点击OK。

Currently, there is no such function in SharePoint Portal Server. To query the keywords of each document, we need to read the urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office#Keywords property of the document.
