我也有类似问题，求救！！
dmp文件创建于日文98，oracle8.1.5
要导入到中文2k，oracle8.1.7 （字符集问题已解决）

你的两个数据库分别是装在什么平台上的，版本是多少？？
能详细说明吗？？

出错信息：

IMP-00010: not a valid export file, header failed verification
IMP-00021: operating system error - error code (dec 2, hex 0x2)
IMP-00000: Import terminated unsuccessfully

不知你能否将具体的出错信息贴出来，大家一起研究一下，而且Oracle 8i本身带有数据库迁移工具Oracle Data Migration Assistant，相信用迁移工具要比你手工简单多了。

你必须用VER7的EXP73导出数据，用VER8的IMP导入。
如果还有问题，在EXP和IMP设置RECORDLENGTH一样。

产生此问题一般有两个原因：
1、在两个主机之间做ftp传输中未使用二进制(bin)。
2、由于做gzip或compress可能引起损坏。

我的建议是1的情况大一些，export出来不要进行压缩测试一下，祝你好运！

IMP-00010 not a valid export file, header failed verification
Cause: Either the file was not generated by Export or it was corrupted.
Action: If the file was indeed generated by Export, report this an Import bug and submit the export file to Oracle Customer Support.
