GetTickCount
This function retrieves the number of milliseconds that have elapsed since Windows CE was started.
DWORD GetTickCount( void );
Return Values
The number of milliseconds that have elapsed since the system was started indicates success.
Remarks
The resolution of the system timer is based on the OEMs setting. Check with the OEM for details.
The elapsed time is stored as a DWORD value. Therefore, the time will wrap around to zero if the system is run continuously for 49.7 days.
Requirements
Runs on Versions Defined in Include Link to
Windows CE OS 1.0 and later Winbase.h
Note This API is part of the complete Windows CE OS package as provided by Microsoft. The functionality of a particular platform is determined by the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and some devices may not support this API.
