请问如何安装活动目录的备份服务器？

升级为WIN2000的DC数据是相同的，必须首先升级PDC——》WIN2K DC
然后是BDC——>win2k dc
它会从第一个DC处COPY一份完整的AD数据库。

1. Take the BDC offline and plug into a hub for active network connection.

2. Point to itself for DNS as DNS will be installed during the DCPROMO process.

3. Use Server Manger to promote the BDC to a PDC.

4. Upgrade to Windows 2000

5. On the reboot, run through the DCPROMO process to promote to a domain controller. Allow it to install DNS.

6. On the reboot, run DCPROMO to demote as the last domain controller in the domain to put it in a workgroup.

7. Delete the machine account on the production domain.

8. Rejoin the machine to the domain and it will be a member server.
