I've also been getting "Segmentation fault (core dumped)" intermittently when running sql*plus.
Examination of the trace file (found in USER_DUMP_DEST) shows this error:
skgm warning: Not enough physical memory for SHM_SHARE_MMU segment of size 0000000068ac0000
Could someone at Oracle please help me interpret this?
Note to Sravan -- The errors won't be shown to screen, but rather will be in the trace file, which is located in the directory specified as USER_DUMP_DEST in your init.ora file.
Please don't just tell me to resize my SGA. I'm not using LOCK_SGA so this shouldn't be a problem.
