关于WS_CHILD和WS_POPUP

我不太理解WS_CHILD和WS_POPUP到底是干什么的？
在对话框中界面上有什么显示出来的特征吗？我看msdn是这样说的WS_CHILD ： Creates a child window. Cannot be used with the WS_POPUP style.
POPUP Creates a pop-up window. Cannot be used with the WS_CHILD style.

我想知道界面的实现上到底有什么区别啊
