com技术内幕是很早的一本书，一定不是用vc７的库

I think This issue is caused by that the stub lib was compiled by VC7 compiler,
which adds the __ftol2 dependency. If you are compiling your project with
VC7, that's no problem; if you compile it with VC6, you get the linker
error.
