I can't find the exe now. But it is easy to write code and and the key function is
IppStatus ippGetCpuFreqMhz(int* pMhz); can do this.
IppStatus ippGetCpuFreqMhz(int* pMhz); can do this.

I recently noticed many of us are confused about CPU IDs for Merom, Conroe or Yonah, I use the following resources to detect CPU ID with or without IPP function calls. Please add your comments if you use any other resources or tools:
1. with IPP solution:
Call ippGetCpuType to find out CPUID, I wrote a short code that would output the cpu type and corresponding IPP optimized code based on 5.1.1. Check the attached .exe file for reference.
2. Other non-IPP solutions:
a. Online Intel Process Finder

b: Intel® Processor Identification Utility Tool download site ( latest version dated in Sep still does not tell the MNI instruction)
http://support.intel.com/support/processors/tools/piu/sb/cs-014921.htm
c. an external CPU ID tool “cpuz utility” ( SSSE3 instruction can be identified!)
