请教！！程序问题？

下面一段程序有点读不懂，还请高手指点。
rs.Open "Select classinfo.课程名称 from
classinfo,studentinfo,studentclass where"+ _
"studentinfo.姓名='"+Combostudent.Text+"’and"+ _
"student.学号=studentclass.学号and"+ _
"studentclass.课程号=classinfo.课程号",gConnection,adopenStatic,adLockOptimistic
这段程序的功能我知道，但中间'"+Combostudent.Text+"'为什么是三引号？？中间的+又是什么作用？能不能帮我用一行写出来啊？

就是说在SQL语句中本身是带单引号的，拼出来的SQL语句就是：

Select classinfo.课程名称 from classinfo,studentinfo,studentclass where studentinfo.姓名='某某' and ....


+不就是连接起来吗？

'SQL中字符型字段及字符型变量引用：
select * from 表名 where 字符型字段='"& 字符型变量 &"'
'SQL中数值型字段及数值型变量引用：
select * from 表名 where 数值型字段="& 数值型变量 &"
