· Responses in AT Command Mode
+CMS ERROR Message Service Failure Result Code
The final result code +CMS ERROR: <err> indicates an error related to mobile equipment or the network. The operation is similar to the ERROR result code. None of the following commands in the same command line is executed. Neither the ERROR nor OK result code shall be returned. ERROR is returned normally when the error is related to syntax or invalid parameters.
Defined Values
<err> values used by common messaging commands:
300 ME failure
301 SMS service of ME reserved
302 operation not allowed
303 operation not supported
304 invalid PDU mode parameter
305 invalid text mode parameter
310 SIM not inserted
311 SIM PIN necessary
312 PH-SIM PIN necessary
313 SIM failure
314 SIM busy
315 SIM wrong
320 memory failure
321 invalid memory index
322 memory full
330 SMSC address unknown
331 no network service
332 network timeout
500 unknown error
...511 other values in range 256...511 are reserved
512... manufacturer specific
+CRING: <type> Extended Format Incoming Call Indication
This is a response of the data card indication of an incoming call if the extended format incoming call indication is selected by the command AT+CRC=1 above.

<type>:
REL ASYNC asynchronous non-transparent data call
FAX facsimile call (TS62)
VOICE normal voice (TS11)
RING Incoming Call Indication
Ring is not a command issued by the user but a response of the data card indicating an incoming call. The numeric (short form) value of the RING response is 2.
+CME ERROR Mobile Equipment Error Result Code
+CRING:<type> Extended Format of Incoming Call Indication
Responses to ATA Command
Long responses / Short responses /
CONNECT / 1 /
CONNECT 1200 / 5 /
CONNECT 2400 / 10 /
CONNECT 4800 / 11 /
CONNECT 9600 / 12 /
Connection established. The digits show the data card connection speed. If no digits follow the CONNECT message, the data card terminal speed is 300 bps, unless the response range has been restricted by an ATX command in which case it could be any speed.
NO CARRIER / 3 /
Connection no longer exists.
ERROR / 4 /
Invalid command.
OK / 0 /
If the command is aborted.
Responses to ATD Command
Long responses / Short responses
BLACKLISTED /14/
Response to dial command which addressed a blacklisted number. See *) below.
BUSY / 7 /
The response to a dial command when the called party is busy.
CARRIER / 16 /
The cellular network carrier RLP is active.
CONNECT / 1 /
CONNECT 1200 / 5 /
CONNECT 2400 / 10 /
CONNECT 4800 / 11 /
CONNECT 9600 / 12 /
Connection established. The digits show the data card connection speed. If no digits follow the CONNECT message, the data card terminal speed is 300 bps, unless the response range has been restricted by an ATX command in which case it could be any speed.
DELAYED / 13 /
The response to a dial command which addressed a delayed number. See *) below.
ERROR / 4 /
Invalid command.
NO ANSWER / 8 /
The response to a dial command when the called party did not answer the call.
NO CARRIER / 3 /
Connection no longer exists.
OK / 0 /
If the command is aborted or if the dial string is terminated by a semicolon character.
*) When the data card tries to reach a number and fails to establish a connection, further attempts will be delayed, i.e., successive attempts to dial the same number will be rejected for a short period of time, and the response DELAYED will be displayed. The delay period only lasts for a few seconds at first, however, if you continue to try to get the call through and fail, the delay will be prolonged for a few minutes. Finally, the called number will be included on a list of so-called blacklisted numbers. The response BLACKLISTED will be seen on the screen. The data card will not accept any new attempts to that number before you press any key on the cellular phone keypad. This user action erases the number from the list and enables you to call the number again. The purpose of blacklisting numbers is to conserve the network's resources.

CONNECT 1200 / 5 /
CONNECT 2400 / 10 /
CONNECT 4800 / 11 /
CONNECT 9600 / 12 /
Connection is succesfully resumed. The digits show the data card terminal speed. If no digits follow the CONNECT message, the data card terminal speed is 300 bps, unless the response range has been restricted by an ATX command in which case it could be any speed.
NO CARRIER / 3 /
Connection is not successfully resumed.
ERROR / 4 /
