如何在RH AS4上安装Firefox 3

大家好，我在Red Hat AS4上安装Firefox 3，

在执行时报错
[root@localhost firefox]# ./firefox
./firefox-bin: error while loading shared libraries: libpangocairo-1.0.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

我在网上查了一下，Firefox 3确实要依赖于Pango，但是安装Pango又要依赖于其它的包，其它的包还可能又有依赖，这样手工逐个安装就会非常复杂。请教大家有没有什么简便的安装方法，可以输入一个命令将Pango及其依赖的包全部安装。

就象我在Ubuntu中可以用 apt-get install 安装依赖包一样。

Red Hat AS4的图形界面应该自带火狐，就算不是3的，也可以用它自身的升级功能吧！呵呵！

多谢回复，我装完后在界面最上方点地球和鼠标的图标时，提示: ERROR:The browser firefox does not exist. Please reconfigure.

看来是没有装firefox. :-(

我用as4时也是碰到这个问题

现在我告诉你
先把yum源更改一下
然后uodate把所有的依赖解决掉

最后再下载直接执行./firefox

....

B5. How do I use up2date ?
up2date is a tool written and shipped by Red Hat to update your system with the latest available updates. Starting with Red Hat Enterprise Linux 3 and Fedora Core 1 it can also be used with Apt and Yum repositories. Install up2date from your Red Hat installation and then add one of the following statements to /etc/sysconfig/rhn/sources:
