Major Responsibilities:

The Jobholder is responsible for the design, integration, development and testing of quality embedded system software and device drivers for new and existing products.

Requirements:

Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field
5 Years of related software development experience
Experience in the Real-time embedded system software development for hand-held or highly portable systems
C/C++ expertise in a product development environment; toy or game experience is a plus.
Experience in the usage of debuggers, JTAG tools and logic analyzers.
Experience in working in memory-constrained environments on 8, 16 and/or 32-bit microprocessors and microcontrollers
Embedded experience on General Plus, Sun Plus and/or ARM microprocessors is desired, including assembly language programming
Proficiency in developing device drivers and working with embedded operating systems is an advantage
Object oriented design and implementation experience is a plus
Proficiency in written and spoken English is desirable
