make all的问题。

你好，当我在使用安装一款软件的时候,我使用make all命令，却不成功，返回的字符串是: No rule to target 'all' stop.

之后我打开Makefile.in 发现里面定义了很多变量，也存在 all指令，clean指令, test等等。。

但为什么执行不了了？ 疑惑。

需要首先configure
./configure
make

虽然源码安装软件的一般步骤是
#./confugre
#make
#make install

但是你拿到一个软件 不要凭你自己的猜测怎么安装
最好先看看目录下的README或者INSTALL后者其他说明文件
再进行安装

嗯，执行 ./configure 的时候 又说 no acceptable C compiler.
然后我返回根目录敲 yum install gcc
又说,
*Note* Red Hat Network repositories are not listed below. You must run this command as root to access RHN repositories.
RHN support will be disabled.
You need to be root to perform this command.

是不是gcc不存在？

对 你的系统没有gcc
yum安装的错误是因为你的RHEL没有交费 所以不能用官方的yum源来安装软件。

你可以把你的yum源改成centos的 再安装。
