First, I'd like to give you a self-instroduction:
I'm a developer from China and I've been working on this brand new platform for nearly three months. Unfortunately, China is not in the country list for Windows Phone 7 initial launch. The worse is that MarketPlace blocks all developers in China out, too. Naturally, I have no chance to get any real device and have no chance to publish my application to MarketPlace for further tests. I'm consistently trying every way to publish my application. But before any progress, I think I have to do something myself, which's just what I'm doing now.
Today, I'm posting my beta release here, hoping that some of you would like to be my trial users. I'll be very glad to get your feedback soon. In return, this application will be free to all the participants and your name will be listed in the About page as a contributor.
Well, let's look at the application.
It's called ShoppingTime, an application which allows you to track your shopping procedures. It provides a simple way to record your shopping items, a straightforward style to browse your desired goods, a history list back to one year. Essentially, it works as a shopping list, reminding you not to forget anything to buy. Furthermore, ShoppingTime provides the ability to create periodical shopping plans. Do you have to buy something every month? Do you need a reminder? OK, it's just made for this. With an extreme user experience, ShoppingTime will be glad to become a handy assistant while you're enjoying your shopping time.
For a general impression, I strongly suggest you download the snapshots from here:
Once you like it, just download the XAP(1.0.2600.4207_BETA) from here:
It's a test version without any limitation, so please don't distribute it to the final consumers.
Any feedback, please reply here and I may have you recorded as a contributor.
I'm looking forward to discussing with you on any technique I've used in ShoppingTime.
