mysql 在linux 安装出错

在linux下载，我买的vps 是32位
使用这个命令查看的：getconf LONG_BIT

然后我下载了MySQL-server-community-5.1.56-1.rhel5.i386.rpm

使用命令


wget http://dev.mysql.com/get/Downloads/MySQL-5.5/MySQL-server-5.5.11-1.rhel5.i386.rpm/from/http://mysql.he.net/

下载好之后，我使用命令

rpm -ivh MySQL-server-community-5.1.56-1.rhel5.i386.rpm

安装出现如下问题：

PLEASE REMEMBER TO SET A PASSWORD FOR THE MySQL root USER !
To do so, start the server, then issue the following commands:

/usr/bin/mysqladmin -u root password 'new-password'
/usr/bin/mysqladmin -u root -h 219812.huayiluo.yahoo.com password 'new-password'

Alternatively you can run:
/usr/bin/mysql_secure_installation

which will also give you the option of removing the test
databases and anonymous user created by default. This is
strongly recommended for production servers.
