谷歌浏览器出现Object # has no method 'setActive' 问题

最近在调js的兼容性问题，

document.getElementById("viewBmp").setActive();谷歌运行到这里总是出现
Uncaught TypeError: Object #<HTMLTextAreaElement> has no method 'setActive'

谢谢啊，现在这个可以了，但是下面还有一个错，

function selectDiv(obj)
		{
			document.focus();
			oDiv=obj;
		}

Object #<HTMLDocument> has no method 'focus' 也是这个错， 火狐跟ie都没有，只有谷歌报了这个js错。 那我应该怎么解决呢
