分享MYSQL数据库连接问题： MySQL 4.1+ using the old insecure authentication
使用万网提供的轻云服务器，连接MySQL数据库时提示如下信息：服务器[qdm-011.hichina.com]连接失败！
错误代号:2000
错误信息:mysqlnd cannot connect to MySQL 4.1+ using the old insecure authentication. Please use an administration tool to reset your password with the command SET PASSWORD = PASSWORD('your_existing_password'). This will store a new, and more secure, hash value in mysql.user. If this user is used in other scripts executed by PHP 5.2 or earlier you might need to remove the old-passwords flag from your my.cnf file
如何解决，关键是也找不到操作服务器端MYSQL的方式啊？

万网上的mysql版本是5.1，使用万网的主机控制面板是可以登录到phpmyadmin的。
百度了下问题的解决方案，有说要重新设置密码，但如何重新设置？在phpmyadmin中设置？没有相关描述。。。。

好像报的是你这种密码登录方式不安全。。。。所以连接出错。。要你重新设置密码 。。换一种登录方式

PHP5.2至少MySQL5.0+
