Task: Create a one page document outlining a solution to the following
problem.  Include information on strengths and weaknesses of solution
and possible alternative routes.


Problem:
As Australia's leading Gift Experiences website (www.redballoon.com.au)
there are large log files created (30-50MB per day) by the webserver
which is in a remote hosting environment. These contain valuable and
potentially sensitive information and so are downloaded from the server
and analysed on a machine inside the RedBalloon Internal network.  The
problem is how to automate the download of the log files so that no
human intervention is required.  The web server is Apache running on
Win2k3 but the analysis of the log files is handled on a Linux server.
Please suggest a solution that will allow seamless transfer of the
files from the Web Server (win2k3) to the Analysis server (Linux)
