[紧急]修改hosts后仍然无法ping通主机名

系统：WINXP
IP:192.168.0.1
目的IP：192.168.0.2

修改etc/hosts文件内容为：192.168.0.2     server
ping 192.168.0.2 可以PING通
ping server 显示：
Ping request could not find host server.Please check the name and try again.

是请问是哪里问题？
