如何隐藏对话框窗口

我想隐藏对话框（在MFC中的基于对话框程序上）
生成状态栏图标 就是不让显示对话框窗口啊！
AfxGetMainWnd()->ShowWindow(SW_HIDE);
AfxGetMainWnd()->UpdateWindow();
用上述语句怎么实现不了啊！

dlg.ShowWindow(SW_SHOW);
把对话框资源的"Visible"属性去掉
