btw, dont forget the colon.

this happens because you have logged with another identifier
an alternative solution is to set DISPLAY environment variable,for example
setenv DISPLAY xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:0.0(xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx should be your IP adress)

哦， 忘了说
xhost +local: 是用在你首先登陆的那个ID下。
setenv DISPLAY xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:0.0 是用在 当你用RLOGIN登陆到另外一个机器以后，或者用SU以ROOT名义登陆的情况。。。
