ibm的产品，一直是比较蓝的，bug是最多的产品，无论是db2,还是websphere。
我目前用的就是ibm websphere4。0 AE 数据库集成oracle9i，现在当数据量比较大时，3天就要重器动，否则报如下错误：

到ibm网站查到，如上信息是可以通过下面的fix修订的，但是我打完补丁也发现问题根本就无法解决，并且fix4.07本身就有bug，比如无法创建数据源，还有就是打补丁时，明明文件存在，他就说不存在，哎，简直是太烂了。
也不知道诸位有没有遇到这个问题的。如果有请提供宝贵方法。谢谢

你自己水平有限不要赖IBM的产品烂， 你的错误是交易超时，最大的可能是你的应用本身存在
数据库死锁之类的问题，造成交易无法在规定时间内完成。
解决的办法是自己检查应用，当然在压力很大的情况下正常交易超时也是有可能的，
这是可以调大事务超时的上限。

4.0.7的补丁我打了，没任何问题，自己打得不对吧？！

呵呵，我用websphere4。0两年了，伙计，自己仔细去检查一下吧，在4。07打补丁时，更新jdk时，有两个文件找不到，不信你在试试，而上面的问题，是造成数据库死掉，你可以到如下网址去看看，就清楚了，小伙子，你还太嫩。

大哥人家的问题是由于启动了Security以后造成的，而且人家的应用是在Solaris上面的，你的是吗，相同的现象不一定是相同的原因造成的。只知其一，不知其二。可惜这里有限制，
贴个开头给你看看。人家的问题跟你的根本搭不上关系。BTW，4.0.7 我打了没有找不到文件，我看了日志。

Hello,
I have an urgent problem with some stress tests I'm runinng on
WebSphere Portal 4.2 on Sun Solaris. I'm am requesting this as a
severity 1 problem. We have a 3 tier environment where the HTTP
Servers is on the front end, the WAS/WPS server on another and
LDAP/DB2 on another tier. We are trying to run 128 Virtual Users
through a simple script (login, change the World Clock portlet,
logout) and it's behaving very slowly. On the HTTP error_log I'm
getting lots of these errors

mod_ibm_ssl: Unable to connect to Session ID Cache

This only happens when I run my stress test. When I try to manually
connect I don't get this error message. The permissions to the
siddport file seem to be fine. I think this might be one of the
causes of my slowness problem. If I look in the Resource Analyzer I
am never close to hitting the HTTP MaxConnections. I have MaxClients
on the httpd.conf file set to 200 and I never seem to get close to
that as well. I need to know what's causing this problem and so far
the only thing I can find is this error message.
