没有最好，只有更好。在不同方面，不用情况下各有所长。你的这种说法根本就没有可比性。不要总想着学个最好的，不管是什么只要你用那就是最好的。好不好是用出来的，不是说出来的。不过你上面说的几种数据库里面InterBase可以去掉，因为他只是附带与DELPHI出现的，没有相对的独立性。

瞎白话几句

ORA：钱钱多得用不完者之优选
MySQL：没钱，功能要求不高，有很强的二次开发人员及能力者可以选择
InterBase：沉沦了
Informix：同上
Sybase：正在太平洋地下深深叹息着呢
MSS：东东不错，价格也可以，一般中小企业足矣，但数据量太大的话，还是选择ORA为好
ASA：个人、小组级数据库，东东不错，但BUG也不少，需要及时找补丁

据传说，MySQL在Linux下不错，ASA、ORA也有Linux版本
ORA的Linux版可以去Down
ASA的只能Down到评估版
对于MySQL，其自身功能基本能够满足一般数据库需要，如果有很强的开发能力的话，可以直接修改源码以提升其功能

ORA，我现在用的是9.2，感觉还不错
MSS，用的是2000，SP3
ASA，手头7、8、9都用过，感觉8比较好

别的数据库，就不太清楚了

本人用Wise Install system制作的Interbase 7.5.1完整安装程序。包含了无限制license。在NT系统下interbase 被安装成service并自动启动；在win9x下被安装成普通应用。经测试无误。
