、拨掉电源
三、插上电源，同时按住前面板的mode键不放，等到前面板端口1的LED绿灯灭后松开mode键。你会看到如下提示：

可以将configuration Register值设为0x2142

提示中没有这个问题应该并不大，关键在于后面第七步和第八步，将配置文件改名并开始引导系统

[回炉重造，学习编程中。。。]

1、进超级终端（不是Telnet），开机，一出字马上按Ctrl+Break，进入Rom monitor

2、>confreg 0x2142

3、>reset

4、进了Setup模式，按Ctrl+C

5、进了用户模式，输入enable

6、进了特权模式，输入copy start run ，恢复原配置

7、输入config ter，进入全局配置模式

8、输入enable secret *** ，定义新特权密码

9、输入config-register 0x2102，恢复寄存器值

10、输入line con 0

11、输入password *** ，定义新控制台密码

12、按Ctrl+Z，到特权模式

13、输入copy run start ，备份新配置

14、输入reload ，重新启动

15、用新密码进入

　　样就可以进入路由器， 就可以看到enable password和C onsole password，但ena

　　ble secret password以被加密，只 能替换。可以进入的configuration Registe

　　r值为0x142.

　　　

　　• 运行password恢复可能会使系统DOWN掉一个半小时；

　　• 将Console terinal连在路由器的 Console口上，确认终端设置为9600bps、8

　　Data bit 、No parity、1 stop bit;

　　• show version显示C onfiguration Register 0x2102 ；

　　• 关机再开，按"Ctrl+ Break",进入ROM MONITOR状态，提示符为">"；

　　• 键入"> o/r 0x142"，修改 Configuration Register到0x142,可以忽略原先的

　　password；

　　• 键入"> initialize",初始化路由器，等一段时间后，路由器会出现以下提示

　　：

　　"system configuration Diaglog ……"

　　Enter "NO"

　　提示"Press RETURN to get started !" ,Press "Enter"

　　• 进入特权模式

　　Router>enable

　　Router#show startup-config

　　这样就可以得到passwo rd(enable&console password)

　　• 修改password

　　"Router#config ter"

简介：本文描述了Cisco Catalyst 2900xl/3500xl/2950/3550系列交换机的enable密码恢复流程
一、将一台终端或装有超级终端软件的PC接到交换机的console口上。终端参数设置如下：
速率：9600bps
检较位：无
数据位：8
停止位：1
流控：无
二、拨掉电源
三、插上电源，同时按住前面板的mode键不放，等到前面板端口1的LED绿灯灭后松开mode键。你会看到如下提示：

四、输入flash_init，回车
五、输入load _helper，回车
六、输入dir flash:，回车
注意：不要少了flash后面的冒号，屏幕出现如下提示。

八、输入boot，回车后重新引导系统。
九、当出现如下提示时，输入n：

十、用en进入enable状态，并将文件config.old改回config.text，命令如下：
rename flash:config.old flash:config.text
十一、将原配置装入内存，命令如下：
2900# copy flash:config.text system:running-config
十二、修改密码：
2900xl#conf t
2900xl(config)#enable secret (new password)
2900xl(config)#exit
十三、退出到用户模式，按en进enable状态，验证密码是否修改成功
十四、将配置写入nvram
2900xl#write

这样的话，交换机的新密码就可以恢复到用户设定的字符。
