EXTRA RELEVANT SYSTEM CONFIGURATION :
My MS windows is an English version, and "Control Panel/Regional and Language Options" settings are:
"Riginal Options/Standards and formats" was set to "Chinese(PRC)",
"Riginal Options/Location" was set to "China",
"Advanced/Language for non-Unicode programs" was set to "Chinese(PRC)",
A DESCRIPTION OF THE PROBLEM :
Simplified chinese folder or file name can't be displayed correctly in FileChooserDemo demo application when the "Windows" Look and Feel" was selected and file chooser dialog was shown.
It runs correctly when the xxxxx s "Look and Feel" was selected.
STEPS TO FOLLOW TO REPRODUCE THE PROBLEM :
This bug always occur on my computer.
I think if you have the same os and "Regional and Language Options" settings, you will reproduce it.
EXPECTED VERSUS ACTUAL BEHAVIOR :

I hope you will correct this bug
ACTUAL -
Simplified Chinese can not display, some small quadrangle was displayed for each Chinese word
ERROR MESSAGES/STACK TRACES THAT OCCUR :
there are no error message
REPRODUCIBILITY :
This bug can be reproduced always.

Work Around None
Evaluation This regression was caused by fix for bug 4826791. Instead of creating a new
non-UIResource font for the filepane list, we should check in BasicListUI
which UIResource to use, based on the UI property "List.isFileList".
