Objectives:

In your role as Supply Chain Planning DevOps Engineer, your will development and support (DevOps) of our supply chain planning system for New Planning Landscape with:
- Start a training path to fully embrace our new planning technology OMP,
- Rollout our new supply chain planning system to various business units in different countries, working with diverse stakeholders in supply chain and commercial teams
- Work in an agile way within a virtual global team, learning by doing / shadowing colleagues and managing the system by e.g. development, configuration or On-Going support.
- Work on user stories, change requests, actively pull, and take over tasks and work self-organized in our squads

Main Task:
- Act as a Global / Regional expert of our BASF digital supply chain team, supporting BASF digital ambitions, helping our global digital service team to identify, execute and implement customer-centric digital solutions in an actionable and measurable way.
- Deep-dive into the supply chain planning environment tools with a strong focus on production planning and detailed scheduling.
- Collaborate with colleagues in a self-organized way and in an agile team, buildup knowledge on specific BASF supply chain planning processes.
- Conduct a comprehensive OMP training cycle and skill up yourself with OMP knowledge.
- Be part of one supply chain planning squad and getting an expert in one of the following areas:
1. functional development or system configuration
2. solutions design
3. on-going support
4. roll out the tool to different operational divisions within BASF.
- Being a part of our global team to shape the future of BASF supply chain planning landscape to develop and rollout OMP within BASF until 2030.

Job requirements：
- Bachelor or higher degree in Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, Industrial Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science or similar.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- At least 3 years’ experience in one supply chain planning tool like SAP APO, IBP, OMP, O9, Oracle, Kinaxis or similar with the focus on short term planning like detailed planning or scheduling.
- Solid knowledge of supply chain planning related solutions
- Openness to new trends and innovative solutions
- Strong collaboration skills with diverse team members
- Ability to work in a multicultural team spread across the globe

Nice to have:
- ERP knowledge in manufacturing or production
- Experience in agile way of working or agile implementation approach
- Knowledge of agile tools like JIRA, Microsoft Azure board or similar
- Coding experience in any programming language like JAVA, C#, ABAP, Python, SQL, etc.
- Pair programming experience
- Automated Testing
- Familiarity with diverse technologies - e.g.: RPA / automation, Power Platform, Machine leaning / artificial intelligence, etc
