英文版RedHat 9.2下的中文显示及重新编译内核问题

问问大家！我装RedHat　9.2时选择的Language 是US.English,现在想让系统支持中文，可不可以不
重新编译内核？如果可以应该怎么办？
另：我装好系统后到/usr/src/...里面找不到系统Documentation和Linux的source code,大家装的
Linux是不是这样的？如果是这样的话，那怎么重新编译内核呢？

I am in Linux OS and can't type Chinese words,so I use English instead!
I have another question!
I have changed fonts of my system,containing Application,Destop,Window and
Terminal ,but except Application,such as browser,other programs ,which may
have something to do with system,can't recognize Chinese words,although I
am sure what I do is right!
I must remind you that what I install Linux system, the language I select
is US.English ,so I think what the Linux kernel supports is only US.English,
and I must recompile the Linux kernel to supprot Chinese words.Can anyone
give me some suggestion?

另外那个我的Linux安装后怎么没有Documentation和source code 呀？

我买的RedHat9.0一共7张光盘,三张安装盘,三张源代码盘,一张文档盘.才68元.
物超所值.上次在连邦看到FC3也是68元,我不知道别的地方是不是这个价格.
