3. Senior Database Java Programmer

Role: Create enterprise software using Oracle, XML and other data
technologies

Qualifications:
6+ years of SQL programming experience with Oracle and 1-2+ years experience
with any other SQL package
5+ years Oracle DBA experience (or certification)
4+ years Java programming experience
2+ years XML and XSL programming experience
2+ years additional experience with any of: C++, PERL, VB, shell, .NET
1+ years of experience in developing reports using Crystal Reports, Oracle,
or other reporting software
Experience with the Crystal Java Reporting Component for J2EE is desired

Job Description:

We are looking for skilled application developers with expert-level database
knowledge. Our product is developed using Oracle and Java. Additional J2EE
components include JDBC, JNDI, Web Services, and JavaMail.

Experience implementing highly scalable, distributed Oracle applications and
knowledge and background in Java software,
performance analysis, and secure programming practices desired.

Responsibilities Include:
-Implementation based on product architecture and design specification
documents using Rational Unified Process
-Development of Oracle application components including:
* schemas
* triggers
* queries
* views
* replication
* backup and restore scripts
* reports
* JDBC code
* Hibernate code
-Development of unit tests using Junit, dbunit and similar frameworks
-Development of XML data clients and Web Services
-Development within the Rational Unified Process
-Requires Bachelor's Degree in software engineering, mathematics, or other
engineering/technical field

Additional Desired Qualifications:
-Experience developing with BEA WebLogic Workshop
-client side development within a JSP, struts-based web application
-Swing application development
-UNIX development

5. Java developer (2)

Required Qualifications:
• 2+ years of Java experience
• Strong technical skills in Java
• Technical skills and experience in J2EE Web Development using struts
• JDBC and SQL development experience
• Development experience with XML and Web Services
• Experience with Rational Unified Process development
• Requires Bachelor’s Degree in software engineering, mathematics, or other engineering/technical field with at minimum 4 years work experience in the IT industry or Master’s Software Engineering degree and a minimum of 2 years work experience in the IT industry.

Desired Qualifications:
• Experience developing with BEA WebLogic Workshop
• Enterprise software development experience building scalable, robust, and secure applications
• Background in security and network management application development
• Development of XML parsing and transformation code
• JavaScript client side development within a J2EE struts-based web application
• Swing application development
