Software Development Manager

Location: Shenzhen, China

Main Responsibilities:

 Propose, design and implement next generation security technologies based on specifications and customer requirements
 Assist in planning, scheduling, and assigning development projects
 Analyze customer requirements, propose and design, product features, and create functional specifications
 Manage a team of software engineers, providing feedback and training where necessary, conducting performance reviews, assisting with recruitment and selection and dealing with any issues within the team

Selection Criteria
 Must be able to effectively communicate with a diverse group of people with differing technical capabilities and various levels of comprehensions
 Demonstrable experience of all facets of the development life cycle
 3+ years of software development management experience
 7+ years of software development experience using C/C++ and /or assembly
 3+ years of embedded application/software development experience
 Thorough knowledge of communications techniques including network protocols
 Experience designing communications applications using TCP/IP and/or UDP/IP required
 Through knowledge and experience with embedded and real-time OS structure, programming techniques, and current offerings
 Expert proficiency with C/C++
 Experience with WinCE, Linux and/or other POSIX style (Unix) )OS
 Ability to accurately estimate time required completing software tasks and projects
 Must be able to travel internationally
 Excellent written and spoken English and Chinese
