Advisory IMS Systems Programmer
Job Title: Advisory IMS Systems Programmer
Position: 10
Work Location: Wuhan, China
Job Role:
 Responsible for day-to-day IMS systems programming support.
 Perform installation/migration/maintenance/support/customization of IMS & related products.
 Perform IMS systems, parameter definition changes, online changes and ad-hoc utility tasks.
 Provide on call support on a roster basis.
 Perform assigned simple to medium IMS problem diagnosis / resolution tasks.
 Implement assigned changes following specific documentation.
 Perform security compliance related tasks against specific documentation.
 Identify and recommended improvements to existing processes and procedures.
 Perform problem and change management tasks using appropriate problem & change tool.
Job Qualification:
Desired Experience:
 5+ years experience with IMS V5 or higher.
 Applied knowledge of Office tools.
 Experience in a process driven enviroenment
Technical Skills:
 Good knowledge of IMS systems programming tasks
 Knowledge of OS/390, z/OS and Utilities
 Knowledge of IMS recovery/restart, Database recovery Control (DBRC), IMS automation, ETO exits, IMS security, IMS Utilities, product conversion (from ISV to IBM)
 Ability to debug assigned simple/medium IMS related problems
 Knowledge of SMPE, automation, JCL, Rexx/Clist VSAM, TSO/ISPF
 Knowledge of VTAM, TCP/IP and Storage Management tools.

Network Services Specialist

Job Qualification:
 Preferred Degree/Diplomas would include Information Technology; Engineering or Science.
 Industry Certification in one or more UNIX flavors.
Desired Experience:
 3-5+ years experience with one or more flavors of UNIX, (Emphasis on AIX).
 Applied knowledge of Office tools.
 Experience in a process driven environment.
Technical Skills:
 In-depth knowledge of AIX Operating System.
 Knowledge of other UNIX Operating Systems.
 Overview of Systems Operation (Including Client-Server).
