1) Test Automation Expert xDSL routers
Job Description:
The System Integration Test Engineer is in charge of test preparation, testing and validation of CPE products, i.e. prepare and perform manual and automated system and network integration tests, report and verify problems on modem equipment and integrate the inter-working with in-house and external DSL equipment. He/She will work on a wide range of the most recent Network Software Technologies, such as: xDSL, Routing, Internet access, VoIP, Video, TCP/IP, ATM, using advanced SW and HW (automation) tools and real time operating systems.
As an test automation expert engineer, you’re participating with the framework development. Your creativity and experience help in defining the architecture and streamlining the development of the other team members.
You have a strong SW architecture background and interested by being very hands on Telecom protocol. You interest goes for making a good architecture rather than writing stylish code.
You have the ability to coach on technical topics (SW/scripting)
As an automation expert, your career path goes towards:

Education and Skills
Bachelor degree or above in related field
Strong analytical skills
3+ years relevant experience in Software/Script development
Team lead/ team coaching over a small project team
Experience of working multi-site is an asset
Good command of English
Preferable Skills/Experience
Software Background
Good knowledge of C/C++
Expert in TCL
Experience in software architecture
Relevant experience Shell scripting
Linux programming is an asset
Experience with software debugging tools
Relevant experience in building/developing testing tools is an asset

Telecom Background
Ethernet (IEEE 802.1), IP and higher protocols,
Relevant experience in a subset of WLAN (802.11a/b/g), ATM, WAN protocols: PPPoE, PPPoA, CIP, IPoA, UPnP; AAA, RADIUS, VLAN, H323, SIP, MGCP, IPSec, SSL, SSH

HW equipment
Experience Configuration is an asset.
DSLAM,ATM switches, BRAS (Cisco, Redback, Alcatel)
(Scripting/programming) experience with Spirent SmartBits
(Scripting/programming) Spirent Adtech(AX/4000)

Software tools
Ethereal, TCP dump
Debugging tools e.g. Active State Komodo IDE
Rational ClearCase, CVS
Bug reporting: Rational ClearQuest

学历/工作经验
- Good communication skills in both written and oral English
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline (Masters preferred)
- Solid knowledge in Ethernet, IP Networking
- Skilled in using Linux/Unix
- 2 years working experience in testing and/or test automation

Preferable Skills/Experience
- Scripting languages(Perl, Tcl, Shell)
- SmartBits or similiar testing instruments.
