高分紧急求助:eclipse插件安装就没成功过...神啊！救救我吧！

我是菜鸟，这阵子刚开始学 eclipse。

试了许多plugin ，就没安装成功过，心寒.......

也许是人品问题，先自我检讨一下。但我如此努力，结果就是这样么。还望各位发扬开源精神，不吝赐教。

我打算用eclipse的SWT做一个java前台界面，用mysql做后台写一个简单的入门级商品进销存MIS。

照着书上说的，下了SQLExplorer3.0，解压到eclipse的plugins目录下。重启eclipse，可是什么也变，perspective里也没有，preference里也看不到。

于是我就想试试插件到底如何使用，下了各种插件，没一个安装成功的，我只想看到一个perspective啊。天,难道我是火星人么。

update文件夹也删了，-clean -clear也试了。links方法也用了，在我这统统不好使。What the fuck things have I done.

我的环境大概是：
网吧或实验室的机器（都有还原卡之类的限制，能安装软件）xp系统
jdk1.5
eclipse3.0 or 3.1都试过，目前使用3.1
插件：试过的有：QuantumDB、SQLExplorer3.0、gef3.2、emf2.2.0、ve1.2.1

不管是解压还是写link文件，就是一点动静没有，选pde透视图，err log显示missing这个类那个类的。

各位，That's why? Can you feel how I am frustrated these days? And what's more I'm going to get the examinations of principles of compiler & computer composition.So there isn't anymore time for me to consume.
I wish I could solve this problem in this week with your selfless help.I will appreciate you for telling me how to use the pde in eclipse and what the problems that I had encounted might be.I just want to see a new plugin perspective.That's all.

我帮你看了一下，不能用的原因是你的Eclipse版本太低了，应该用3.2以上的就没问题了。
或者你不用SQL Explorer 3.0用低版本的。其他的插件也应该是版本或者依赖关系的问题。
下载的时候多注意一下依赖关系可能就顺利了。

Download the Eclipse SQL Explorer plugin and extract the zip file in your eclipse directory (requires Eclipse 3.2 or better).
After restarting eclipse with the -clean option, a new SQL Explorer perspective should be available.

Eclipse Update Site

You can install and update Eclipse SQL Explorer via the eclipse update mechanism. The update site for Eclipse SQL Explorer is http://eclipsesql.sourceforge.net/

装插件:
1)安装好插件本身
2)在Eclipse的plugin目录下放置相应的关联文件
3)在Eclipse的Window->Perferences里配置好相应的如插件安装路径等选项

如1)2)正确,3)无法进行,把configration里面的update文件夹删了，再启动eclipse

万恶的版本问题。换到eclipse 3.2 就行了。所有插件安装失败者一定要注意版本匹配问题！！！教训哪

我用的那本破书极力推荐eclipse3.1，那会子3.2刚出，说它不稳定。

问题的始作俑者就在这了，注意了。书上用的是 ec3.1+sqle2.4.几+++++jdk1.4.2，而我用的是jdk1.5。受硬件向下兼容思维的影响，我总认为sun不能因为升级jdk而使以前的东西不能用吧，而且到处都说：jdk1.4 or better is required.实际上3.1里已经提示我了：

No match is available for the required execution environment: J2SE-1.4

我却一直想着到底哪里配置不对了，于是就有了这两天的郁闷。却没想到是这边对jdk的高版本不支持了。
